My family has been friends with the Mootys for a long time. Growing up, we lived down the street from each other, and my older sister Becky used to nanny for them during the summer. I never really got to know the Mooty gals until much later, but at this point it just feels like I’ve known them forever. My older sister is in town with my brother-in-law and his brother, so the whole family headed over to the Mooty’s for a BBQ. It was great to catch up with everyone and hear what they’re up to. All six of the Nersesian/Mooty kids have lived in the Santa Barbara area at one point in life, so we always have a lot to talk about and have some good laughs! Most of my photographic attention seemed to be focused on Alison’s new dog Peanut. She’s great, and there was practically a line to hold her!
