About Dan

My friends & family tell me I'm an all or nothing kind of guy.  For better or worse, I'd agree, and that's exactly how I was with photography.  I guess everyone was right!  It was a strange path that led me to my current life. Looking back, it seems that one minute I was a 22-year-old Marine in Iraq, fascinated by the embedded photojournalists who hung around on a daily basis, and the next minute I was enrolled at Brooks Institute of Photography, actively pursuing my own career in visual storytelling.  I haven't looked back since, and it seems that almost everything I do ties into my love for photography in one way or another.
